SuperGames

In a few days time Ron & Daz will head off to Tampa Bay to represent us at the Superbowl on BBC Two. Guys if you have a moment you are still most welcome to enter the Supergames. If others of you cannot make it to HQ next Sunday for the big game but still want to have a wager or two, we will be playing the usual games at the traditional price of £1 per game. Attached is the price of the Superbowl players so you can enter your team (usual rules 1 x QB, 1 x K, 4 x Outfield Players for a maximum of $7.5m). The other games are First Player to Score (QB only if he runs it in), Half-time score, Full-time score and leader by Quarter eg Pittsburgh,Tie,Arizona,Arizona. (PTAA). All-BUMS Voting Thanks to those who have already voted, for those who have not remember I need (in order) your top 3 Running Backs and top 3 Receivers plus your number 1 & 2 Quarterbacks, Kickers and Coaches. Vote for your players based on BUMS points, how much you enjoy them, what they meant to their BUMS roster/NFL team or just that they were on your roster. The deadline is this Thursday (January 29th) so get your votes in as soon as possible. NFL in the UK As mentioned earlier in the week we have 5 tickets available for New England vs Tampa Bay at Wembley on October 25th. 7 of us are already going so shout if you’re interested. Conference Conundrum Lamenting his 3rd season in the league and still failing to get promoted George asked “What is the longest anyone has stayed in the conference for?” For the first 3 years of Divisional play Aaron failed to get promoted while Phil spent 3 years in the Conference before he sold his Franchise. So sadly when next season starts George will begin his record 4th year. Coaching Changes Since the end of the year almost a third of all teams (10) have changed their Head Coaches while San Francisco signed interim coach Mike Singletary. So here’s a summary:- NY Jets (Eric Mangini out, Rex Ryan in); Cleveland (Romeo Crenell out, Eric Mangini in); Indianapolis (Tony Dungy out, Jim Caldwell in); Denver (Mike Shanahan out, Josh McDaniels in); Kansas City (Herm Edwards out); Oakland (tbc); Detroit (Rod Marinelli out, Jim Schwartz in); Tampa Bay (Jon Gruden out, Raheem Morris in); St Louis (Jim Haslett out, Steve Spagnuolo in), Seattle (Mike Holmgren out, Jim Mora in).
